Image Credit: sakshi AIIMS has issued new guidelines on black fungus. At the moment, mucormycosis , known as the rare fungal disease is spreading rapidly. Basically former covid patients' bodies are infecting. According to the AIIMS COVID ward , patients with uncontrolled diabetes who have used high levels of steroid have a higher risk of contracting black fungus infection. In Maharashtra , 90 people have died of myocardial infection , which is rare but the consequences of this fungal infection are serious. In Rajasthan, more than 100 people have been infected with black fungus. The Rajasthan government declared black fungus epidemic in the state on Wednesday.
