Many days nothing has been written so I thought let's write something. I couldn't think of anything. Then I suddenly remembered the biggest problem in the world.
Climate change is emerging as the biggest problem in today's global situation. Today, the problem of climate change is not limited to any country, continent or region, but has taken a formidable form at the global level. To deal with the problem of climate change, today under the leadership of the United Nations, all the countries need to take continuous steps together.
🔴What is climate change?
First of all we need to know this. What is this problem after all? Climate change is the change in the general weather patterns that occur at a particular place.
Sudden changes in weather, major changes in regular cropping patterns, the disappearance of a small number of available wildlife and plants, increased global temperatures, melting glaciers, and continuous rise in sea level waters. These are deadly signs of climate change.

Glacier melting is the biggest problem in all of them, due to which the rise in sea level and uncontrolled floods are very sensitive and worrying topics. In the reports of many past years of the Glacier Monitoring Service, the terrifying reports of their continuous melting every time are the biggest possible alarm bells on human life.
🔴Causes of climate change?
There is no single main reason behind climate change that can be attributed to it, although the increasing effect of greenhouse gas in our environment is considered to be the main reason.
The rays coming from the Sun to the Earth go into the outer atmosphere of the Earth. Some amount of this energy is absorbed by the greenhouse gases and reaches our planet.
Due to which the seismicity in temperature remains. Green house gases include methane, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, etc.
Although it is necessary to have these green house gases in our environment, but being in excess of an equilibrium gives rise to many problems.
In which the increase in temperature is the main, which is also called global warming in common parlance. In today's time, global warming is an important form of climate change.
🔴Effects of climate change
It has been known from various researches that Earth is the only planet where life is possible. In our atmosphere, in addition to 78% nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen and three percent Carbon dioxide, all the remaining gases come in the remaining 1 percent.
Due to this type of gaseous balance, nature behaves normally in life, while this balance gets disturbed due to increase or decrease in the quantity of any gases.
Due to which a crisis is present for life. This type of situation came to the fore mainly after the industrial revolution that started in Europe and Western countries in the 17th century.
With the progress of the era, due to the irregular use of natural resources and harming the environment in self-interest till the 21st century, the full circle of climate has been affected today. Many new life-threatening diseases were also born during this time due to increased pollution.
climate change measures
In the last decades of the 20th century, many effective steps were taken by the UNO and other nations to deal with the dire situations caused by climate change, rising temperatures and pollution. In 1985, the Vienna Conference was held for the serious topics of environmental pollution and ozone layer holes.
Representatives of almost all countries participated in this and some environmental policies were made for a collective effort. For the next three years, almost all the countries involved in the Vienna Convention signed it.
After this effort, many agreements and conferences have been organized in the cities of many countries. Keeping in mind the growing problem of global climate change, the World Meteorological Organization and the United Nations Environment Program together formed the Intergovernmental on Climate Change (IPCC) in 1988.
This world-class organization acts as an international forum responsible for climate change. The World Meteorological Organization (WWO) and the United Nations Environment Program today have more than 200 member states. It serves to present scientific diagnosis on global climate change, its impact and adaptive measures.
The active contribution of this organization helps to find solutions to the rapid changes in climate change and human activities and possible threats to come.
It not only collects data by doing research work, but while monitoring climate change but also preparing assessment reports which are based on scientifically extracted facts. Realizing the importance of the work of this organization, it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 by the UNO.
🔴Climate change solutions
The Kyoto Protocol was set in Japan in 1997 for all developed countries in relation to rising global temperatures and low emissions of greenhouse gases to developed nations mainly responsible for this.
In 1992, the United Nations Environment and Development Summit was held in Rio de Janeiro, Japan. This time for the first time all the countries of the world agreed on the multilateral legal system.
It is also called the Kyoto Protocol Treaty of 1997, in 2005 this treaty was implemented by all the countries. By 2012, the target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 5.2 percent has been set.
Due to this treaty, there is pressure on all the developed countries of the world to produce these gases in small quantities. More than 180 countries participated in the 2007 ASEAN Summit on Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainable Development.
In this 13th ASEAN conference, the strategy ahead for the Kyoto Protocol 1997 was discussed in depth. After this, the main theme of the Copenhagen conference held in 2009 was climate change.
Climate Change Conference 2017
This year the Global Conference on Climate Change was held in Morocco. At the end of this conference, all the member states agreed on one thing, that by the year 2018, the rules of the Paris Agreement would be made law.
Along with this, India, while presenting the blueprint of the ideal city, suggested all the countries to take initiative towards achieving the figures of reduction in carbon dioxide emissions set in the Doha conference.
The Climate Change Performance Index, 2017 released this time, continues to top France with a score of 66. With the same score of 59, it is 20th in this world list, India is included in 10 countries of the world's carbon emissions.
In fact, climate change is a global problem, which the world community has to come forward to deal with. For this, all the countries should also make local efforts at their level.
Development and environment are complementary to each other, with whom there is a need to move forward in harmony. Without a balanced and clean environment, human life will become difficult.
By the way, the use of natural resources is also necessary for development. But keeping in mind the environment, it should be used to an extent.
